Steamed Pureed fish with mashed green vegetables
1 small fish fillet (cod/threadfin or any other white fish)
1 potato chopped
1 small zucchini chopped / ½ cup spinach finely chopped/ ½ cup peas*
1. Debone the fish and remove all skin. Steam fish for about 5-10 minutes till cooked through. Meanwhile, steam potato till soft. Add cooked potato with fish in blender. Blend with either cooled boiled water or formula/breast milk till smooth.
2. Steam vegetable (either one of the three) till tender; drain and blend till smooth. Add liquid (water, or formula/breast milk) to obtain your preferred consistency.
3. *if you decide to use peas, strain it through a sieve to remove skin after steaming.
4. You may also serve this to an older child but with some modifications to the texture.
